MMy research work is mainly centered on the development of very premature children. As babies, I am studying their social and neurological development using three different interventions, the first based on parent infant interactions (CoNaître project), the second based on Kangaroo Mother Care project and the third based on Massage stimulation. These works have contributed to the implementation of the Kangaroo Mother Care project in pediatric hospital firstly in Quebec city, and the plan is to expand this intervention to canadian pediatric hospitals. Moreover, I am studying the psychological and physiological response of very prematurely born young adults to stressful event exposure. We test the hypothesis of their flattening responses using the TSST experimental conditions which might be linked to psychological state of self concept.
