About Ryan

I obtained my BA in Honours Psychology from the University of Waterloo in 2010. In 2013, I completed my MA in Child Studies under the supervision of Dr. Nina Howe. I am mainly interested in children's social-cognitive development in early and middle childhood as it pertains to the development and maintenance of their close relations with parents, siblings, and peers. My focus is on multi-party family conflict and the alliances that form during these disputes. With Dr. Bukowski, I am interested in identifying gender differences of friendship satisfaction, as well as contextual factors that contribute to children being accepted and popular among their peers.
